Am Anfang stand 2012 eine Idee: Das erste Netz von Langlaufloipen in Thailand eröffnen - und über die gesamte Länge betreiben. Es gab keinen langen Wander- oder Laufweg in Thailand und wir wollten die Ersten sein, die einen solchen angelegt haben. Mit Leidenschaft für Natur und Trail Running wollten wir weit weg von den üblichen touristischen Routen gehen und unsere eigene Route kreieren, unsere eigenen Wege erkunden. Our agency is officially registered at the Thai Authority of Tourism (TAT) under the license 21/00912. We work only with guides that are certified by the same organisation. Thailand Mountain Trail has also worked for many years with international partners in Europe and America. Our company is affiliated with the main trekking and trail running associations nationally and internationally.
Our tours are all inclusive. From the pick up at your hotel in the city centre until your return, there is nothing to pay in addition. We provide all meals (at restaurants, in villages or to take away) and all snacks during the trip. We manage accommodation in mountain villages with exclusive homestays where comfortable mattresses as clean sheets and blankets are provided. All National Park fees and insurance are included as well. Joining a TMT trip is a unique experience with the highest attention paid to the service we deliver.
We have spent several years to find all our routes; we have worked many months to create all our trips with local people and partners. Our target is to offer unique trekking and running trips.

Many media have been interested in our project that relives ancient footpaths used by hill tribes. Press and TV came to Chiang Mai to write articles and makes documentaries about TMT.
